Every time I hear this song it reminds me of my time in the Territorial Army.
Every weekend we'd spend our time getting filthy and scared in some far-flung part of Salisbury Plain or similar, ending up in the pub on Sunday evening completely knackered and swearing never to do it again.
Then somebody would put this on the juke box at full volume and we'd all feel OK again.
