I went through a patch of not listening to music radio for a while. I thought I’d just too old to listen to DJs and they were winding me up. But every now and then you have to and coming back from Cranleigh one day I was glad I did because otherwise I would have missed this. It was pouring with rain and I’d just taken a car to be test driven by some business on a drab industrial estate which they then said they weren’t going to buy. So totally fed up I pulled onto the road back to Guildford when this came on the radio. And I had to pull over, seriously I had to pull over, it was just so happy. It gave the impression that everyone on this record was having a really good time and they wanted you to have a good time too. One of the car manufacturers have recently started claiming that make joy. Nope, this is manufactured joy. This is joy you can listen to, almost touch. If it doesn’t put a smile on your face by the end, you’re dead. And unbelievably as I type this, it has just come up on random on my Itunes!
