Up until I was about 10 years old, my mom used to set the stereo in my room to 'Classic FM' and would switch it on every night before I went to bed. Up until then, the only music I was aware of was classical, the Johnny Mathis and Engelbert Humperdinck 8-tracks my mom used to play in the car, and random stuff in the charts that was played on the local pop station until... on my 10th birthday, my best friend Liz gave me a single. It was Aerosmith's 'Last Child' and that record opened a whole new musical world to me! I've been a serious rock chic ever since!
