Don't Stop Believin'
Journey
Submitted by: rebel-girl
Back in the early 80's in Seattle when it was still fairly safe to hitchhike (Ted Bundy had been apprehended by then), my mate and I used to spend the summer hitching rides to no place in particular just for lack of anything else better to do. School was out, it was a roasting hot day and Journey's album 'Escape' had recently been released. We were picked up by a couple in a big boat of a Cadillac and this song was playing on the radio. We were all singing along, all the windows were down, and passing cars were looking at us like we were mad. I can't hear this song without thinking about that summer day when I was a carefree teenager!
